What is BaZi?
BaZi, also called Four Pillars, maps your birth year, month, day, and hour into eight characters used for self-reflection — not prediction.
Do I need an exact birth time?
No. If you are unsure, use 12:00 noon as a placeholder. Only the Hour pillar and some timing themes may shift — day, month, and year pillars stay the same. You can regenerate later with your exact time.

Do you store my birth data?
No. Free chart inputs are processed in your session to generate results and are not persisted on GPTbazi servers. Paid unlock records and optional login email may be retained — see our Privacy page.

Gender is used for classical luck-cycle direction metadata. It does not change your Day Master or the four pillar stems shown in your chart.
What is true solar time?
We adjust your birth clock time using location longitude and timezone so the hour pillar aligns with local solar time — a standard BaZi practice.
How does 90-day access work?
Timing Map access lasts 90 days through a personal email link — no account required. The free chart and three questions with Ziheng remain available.
