How the six lines are thrown
Three coins per line, six times over. Each throw sums to 6, 7, 8 or 9: six and nine move, seven and eight stay still. The question you have in mind does not weight the throw.
- The throw is random and is not tuned to what you asked. A reading you can steer is not a reading.
- A moving line is read once here and once in the hexagram it becomes. The seven rules for that come from the Yixue Qimeng, not from us.
- We describe the situation the text names. We do not promise an outcome.
The classical text is the Zhouyi, public domain, checked against a Wikisource transcript. The readings are ours. Daily hexagram
