潜龙勿用
At the very start the strength still lies submerged; holding it back matters more than forcing it out.
- 九二Line 2
见龙在田，利见大人
Emerging into view and being seen, this is the moment to seek someone who can place you, not to hold the stage alone.
- 九三Line 3
君子终日乾乾，夕惕若；厉，无咎
Pushing all day and still tense at night, caught at the edge of breaking through; the cost of effort is never standing down.

Poised at the edge of the deep, testing a leap; either way stays open, and the difficulty is having nothing sure to lean on.

亢龙，有悔
At the peak still straining upward, overshooting is already the way down, and the cost is that turning back comes late.
